Vision for the Future

The Accounting Department boasts an extensive history. Our alumni have excelled in academia, the political sphere, and various industries, and are thus paragons of professional excellence for the department’s current students. The department’s graduates are characterized by their earnestness and accountability, and are often the top candidates for positions in many enterprises. Many go on to become integral players in their respective fields. In the short term, this program aims to enhance students’ career aptitudes and job market competitiveness through various educational programs. Students are also encouraged to take the CPA or related exam to become certified accountants. It is the department’s goal to assist students in producing high-quality research and graduate from the program as capable individuals. As graduates of Tamkang University, it is the University’s hope that alumni will continue to promote research, establish exchange between industry and academia on an international level, and contribute to making Tamkang University’s Accounting Department a nexus of academic and industry excellence.
