CPA Australia is one of the world's largest accounting bodies with a global membership of more than 150,000 members. In order to achieve the CPA designation, students have to complete the CPA Program, including three years of professional experience. Graduates of our Accounting Department benefit from an exemption provided by CPA Australia. They are exempted from the fundamental exams and eligible for the associate membership of CPA Australia. They can complete the 6-subject professional level exams to become a CPA. The Department of Accounting and CPA Australia signed Memorandum of Agreement which provide our students with an accelerated pathway to start early from year 3 or year 4 (enroll up to 2 subjects of CPA Program). Moreover, both the department and CPA Australia offer scholarships covering examination fees.
