Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is the leading professional organization devoted exclusively to management accounting with a global network of more than 100,000 members. The CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation is the most prominent certification for management accountants. CMA is an advanced-level assessment for accounting and financial professionals in the business. The two-part exam covers financial reporting, planning, performance and control; and financial decision making. The Department of Accounting and IMA signed Memorandum of Agreement to provide 10 IMA scholarships annually (the scholarship includes a waiver of IMA membership fee, CMA entrance fee, and exam fee) to our students. IMA will provide support and share best practices and expertise on the enhancement of management accounting and related areas to enable students who wish to achieve the CMA certification.
